At the ReCyclery we offer apprenticeships, volunteer opportunities, and a middle school bike education.
As a local beekeeper, I am willing to work with any student who wishes to do a senior project in beekeeping.

I worked for both the US Public Health Service and as the medical director of Sea Mar, a non profit community health center. Now I serve as a commissioner for the public hospital district which does business as Jefferson Healthcare.
I am Board President of Jefferson County ReCyclery, a local non profit community bike center that refurbishes old bikes, teaches bike maintenance and mechanics, and motivates people to ride more often and safely - "promoting bicycle use for a healthier and more sustainable community".
