As a county government agency we frequently work with other county and city departments and there are opportunities for students to learn and help us in our mission.

We manage data using GIS to conduct county weed surveys and help determine where is the highest need. We also introduced a phone app that will allow users to send in locations of new noxious weeds that can be added to the map. Training in GIS offered as well as opportunities to help develop more tools for community.

We work with landowners, businesses, and local government to help them develop custom plans to manage lands ecologically and weed free.

We conduct surveys and manage scientific data for noxious weeds to help determine where highest needs are and learn what is happening ecologically year to year.
